Because I can sew and learned to sew because I had ideas, I've enjoyed dreaming up items (especially for kids and when I was one) and making a wide range of items for myself, family, friends, and clients.

I say~ I'll sew, restore, recycle anything. . . and so far that has included hundreds of costumes and very large or strange theatre props, safety equiptment, hand-embroidered monograms, car seat covers, and cat carriers. . . I've made vanity skirts from shower curtains, bridal ring pillows from heirloom gowns, quilts from favorite apparel. . . I've mended favorite things for many people, but also torn car covers, worn upolstery, and damaged drapes and shades.

We will create items not usually embraced by other seamstresses, like floorQuilts and canopies to enhance children's playplaces. . . deckSails which shield windy outdoor spaces or screen undesired exposures. . . tablecloths, shower curtains, bedclothes. . . "you-name-it". . . other home and lifestyle enhancements that are genuinely custom and resolve specific visions or needs. Special occasions and personal circumstances also often present specific ideas for apparel, keepsakes, accessories, gifts, and costumes.
